"My name is Matt and I am new to the city of Sao Paulo. I’m from a small town called Exton just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While growing up in Pennsylvania, I played ice hockey year-round for two teams and also played rugby for my high school team. When I was not on the ice playing hockey or on the field playing rugby I would spend my time snowboarding, surfing, playing guitar, skateboarding, or any other activity that might get me injured. Ever since I was a young age I had the passion to explore new places, people, foods and languages and I still carry that passion with me After high school the next chapter in my life began at The Pennsylvania State University to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree. After two years I dropped out of the economics program and followed my heart into the hospitality management program and graduated with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management. Part of my personality is that I enjoy helping people and that is why I switched into hospitality management. It is also the reason why I am teaching English."
