The idea is that we talk about life or specific topics you might have in mind, improving your listening and speaking skills. This way you can feel more comfortable when speaking/listening to English in proficiency tests such as the IELTS or TOEFL; in job interviews; daily activities; or whichever scenario you might want to use the language. We can always go into grammar/vocabulary details, but the idea is that the conversation flows. If you pronounce something wrong, I will use that word in the correct form and make sure you notice the difference. Life goes on. We talk and have a good time. I am more than happy to talk about science and artsy stuff!

Hi! My name is Pedro. I am a Geologist who has had the opportunity to spend some good time abroad and experience life in different environments. Currently, I am finishing my master's degree in Geology at the University of São Paulo (USP).
My English experience:
- I did 5 years of English classes at Brasas English Course as a teenager;
- I went to the UK for one year as an undergraduate student (ciência sem fronteiras) to study geology at the University of Bristol;
- I went to Uganda for 6 months to work in an NGO where I taught biology, chemistry, and physics for students from more than 20 countries in sub-Saharan Africa. Pretty much everything I did there was in English;
- My research project is supervised by a British professor with whom I talk very often. My entire dissertation and all presentations I did during my degree were in English.
Oh, I'm also a flute/guitar player :D
