Olá!/¡Hola!/Hello! I'm Leonardo, but you can call me Leo. I have a degree in philosophy from USP and have been teaching English, Spanish and Portuguese for three years. I've had experience with the first two languages for at least a decade and I’m natuve to the third. I also study other languages, such as Arabic and French. I was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and have lived in England for a while, as well as traveling to different parts of Latin America. I am very passionate about teaching and always seek to help students achieve their learning goals through culture, which allows deeper access to any language.

My method as a native Portuguese speaker with a degree in Philosophy and Education presents the language through practical usage and connection through culture: music, literature, movies and other media that might interest the student. The materials are created according to the student’s needs and development. The idea is to give the student the confidence to speak their mind wherever their lusophone destination may be!
