Hi, I’m Ari! I’m an English tutor with 3 years of teaching experience and a 5-star rating on Preply. I hold a Diploma in Languages and Cultures (CEGEP) and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies.
My journey into teaching started during CEGEP when I began tutoring and discovered how rewarding it felt to help others learn and gain confidence. That experience led me to teaching English, where I found my passion.
Students often describe me as patient, friendly, and easy to talk to. Creating a comfortable and supportive environment is very important to me because I believe people learn best when they feel relaxed and confident.
My lessons are immersive and adapted to each student’s goals and learning style. Whether you want to improve everyday conversation, prepare for travel, communicate more confidently at work, or build a stronger foundation in English, I design lessons around your needs. I speak Farsi (native), French (upper intermediate), and English, which gives me a deeper understanding of the language-learning process and helps me support students from different backgrounds.

My teaching approach is interactive, practical, and designed to help students use English naturally and confidently.
In my lessons, I often use short videos as a starting point. After watching, we work with a related text or transcript and explore the ideas together through discussion. This method helps students learn English in context instead of memorizing isolated vocabulary or grammar rules.
Through this process, students can:
• Expand their vocabulary naturally
• Improve speaking fluency through guided conversation
• Strengthen reading comprehension
• Practice pronunciation and develop more natural speech
• Build confidence expressing opinions and discussing different topics
I also include grammar support throughout lessons so students understand how English works and can apply it in real communication.

I mainly teach adults and beginner to intermediate learners who want practical, engaging lessons focused on communication and steady progress.
