Hi there!
Well done for taking the very first step towards improving your English communication skills! I really enjoy helping students of English achieve their personal goals, which is why I've been teaching for over seven years now. My most recent successful student passed her CAE exams with a top A grade. Although there are many difficulties these days, taking the time to develop language skills can go a long way in improving career opportunities or gaining university entrance.

My lessons:
1. We establish your needs and goals.
2. We agree to a personalised learning plan with steps for your continued improvement.
My learning style is flexible and alternating to keep the learner interested, with a combination of conversation/dialogue, grammar, functional language and general English, while focusing on the four main skills: speaking, listening, use of English, writing.
I aim for enjoyable and communicative lessons with a focus on building confidence and fluency. If you are interested in more formal business style lessons, we can arrange that too.
I will often provide optional homework to assist students in further acquiring the language. As a learner of other languages myself, I put myself in the learner's shoes.
I will guide you through any difficulties and focus on increasing your confidence in speaking.

About me:
I have been teaching English for seven years now following my teaching certification, as well as recently gaining a Postgraduate certificate in Education.
I initially studied a BSc in Nutrition and still have a keen interest in the field, as someone who is very motivated to lead a healthy lifestyle!
I enjoy cookery courses and spend much of my spare time in the garden (where I also care for my resident garden hedgehog!)
Above all, my lessons are very well-prepared and enjoyable so that you can really get the most out of your time. In order for your lessons to be effective and for you to be successful in achieving your goals, it is important that you are committed. That means punctual attendance, self study and tons of self-motivation!!
