I am a firm believer in active and inquiry-based learning. It is important that students don't only learn because it is expected of them, but also because they are curious to find out new things and have inner motivation to improve. When it comes to teaching English, I use literature as the primary text, and base grammar and writing activities on this. Language is always evolving and part of our everyday lives. As such, students must live it, and not just complete dry grammar exercises on paper.
