Three years years ago I moved from the UK to Portugal and began teaching English on line. Being a language student myself has really helped me in my teaching practice and I realise how important it is that lessons are helpful to student's day to day lives.
I have a Bachelors degree in English Literature and a Post graduate certificate in Social Policy as well as an advanced TEFL certificate.
I can help with study skills, exam preparation and effective essay writing at IELTS, school, university and PHD level.
My previous career was as a recruitment specialist so if you need help with CVs, job applications and interview practice I can help you find your dream job!
I am also experienced in business support and can help with advertising, business plans and practicing presentations.

I love talking and many of my students are learning for fun. We cover a wide range of topics which are relevant to their lives, having interesting conversations whilst practising listening and speaking skills.
If you have a specific goal in mind together we will draw up a plan to help you achieve your aims.
I provide lots of materials and I usually ask my students to do a little bit of home work each week- even if its just watching English TV!
