I love to teach students through cross-functional projects that are applications of the underlying Math theory. For example, apply statistics to prove a hypothesis in business or economics, apply calculus to optimize the physics performance of a spinning beyblade etc. This is the best way for students to not only understand how to do the math but also, why it is important to learn the math. The results speak for itself - so far, my students have achieved 95% in their standardized exams!!
