My name is Julia. I’m a native Portuguese speaker from Brazil and a Law student at the University of São Paulo (USP), one of Latin America’s top universities. I’m passionate about languages, education, and Brazilian culture — especially music, literature, and cinema — and I believe learning happens best through genuine connection, consistency, and empathy.
With a strong academic background in writing and language, and experience as a writing tutor in a university prep course, I’m committed to helping students feel confident when using Portuguese, whether for conversation or formal expression. I’ve studied English from a young age and taken part in international programs in England and at Yale University, which deepened my understanding of language as a bridge between cultures.
Now preparing for an academic exchange in Germany, I’m even more excited to share the richness of Brazilian Portuguese and to connect with learners from around the world through meaningful, personalized teaching.
