I am a history major, I have been in Portugal since June, when I came from Brazil to study at the renowned ISCTE university. I have given private lessons since 2015, and in a group since 2016. Portuguese is not only a language of infinite utility, but it can give us perspectives to understand even more the beauty of the English language. Both have unique qualities, and beautiful particular sounds. The Portuguese, when well learned, open doors in the understanding of the other, in their individual and cultural expression.

I approach the subject with two basic philosophies. Firstly, by encouraging knowledge everywhere, and being able to talk about foreign policy, music, netflix series, etc, anything that encourages us to continue studying and learning is useful for learning. Then, understanding that knowledge is something fluid, I find it useful to help students register their knowledge, learn their biggest difficulties and focus on them, not to lead for exhaustion, but always maintaining the horizon of improvement and consultation in their tools.
